Concrete Structure Prize to Amos Rex

The annual award of recognition, Concrete Structure Prize, was awarded to Amos Rex by the Finnish Betoniteollisuus Ry. This is the third time JKMM architects receives the award. The first awarded project was Turku Library in 2007 and the second was Seinäjoki Library in 2012. 

According to the jury, Amos Rex reflects architectural ambition and skills with all the structures made out of concrete, and concrete used in interiors in comprehensive manner.

Concrete Structure Prize is annual recognition that is awarded by Betoniteollisuus Ry to a project that best reflects the quality of Finnish field of concrete construction. Concrete Structure Prize was awarded for the first time in 1970 to Näsinneula, Tampere. Read more about the award here.
