JKMM is committed to aim for carbon neutrality by 2035
We are proud to announce that we are committed to the Green Building Council’s #BuildingLife project, aiming for carbon neutrality by 2035. We at JKMM want to create the infrastructure for happiness one building at a time, and this commitment is taking us another step closer to our mission.
As part of the #BuildingLife project, ten European Green Building Councils deliver the EU Green Deal by tackling the whole-life environmental impacts of the building sector.
In the runup to COP26, World Green Building Council has convened ten European Green Building Councils to galvanise climate action in the built environment through national and regional decarbonisation roadmaps.
The Green Building Councils spearheading the project are Croatia, Finland, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, the Netherlands, Poland, Spain and the UK. Together these ten Green Building Councils are creating the first region-wide response to the vision of a net-zero embodied carbon built environment set out in WorldGBC’s 2019 report. The project is creating a pathway for other world regions to follow.
JKMM is proud to be part of this European spearhead movement to tackle the climate and environmental collapse.
More information about the project can be read on Green Building Council Finland and World Green Building Council.
