JKMM is one of the top 5 shortlisted design teams in International Shenzhen Antuo Hill Museums Competition

We are honored to announce that JKMM has been shortlisted to enter the second phase in the International Competition for Urban Design and Architectural Concept Design of Shenzhen Antuo Hill Museums.

Pre-qualification Review Committee performed a comprehensive review on aspects of company experience, reputation, chief designer and the team’s experience and achievements, concept proposal, etc. The Committee consisted of 6 professional juries – HE Jianxiang, HUA Li, LIU Xiaodu, WEI Chunyu, XU Jian, ZHU Rongyuan – and 1 organizer representative – YIN Nan.

A total of 61 applications were received, and the committee carefully reviewed 60 valid applications. After in-depth discussion and voting the jury determined 5 shortlisted teams (without ranking) and 2 alternative teams (with ranking).

Five qualified design teams are shortlisted to enter the second Phase (without ranking):

In the second phase, i.e. Urban Design Phase the five shortlisted design teams will submit urban design schemes. A Scheme Review Committee will be established to evaluate the design schemes and three finalists (without ranking) to enter Architectural Concept Design Phase. The three finalists will be announced in fall 2021.

JKMM joined forces with Shenzhen-based architecture, landscape and urban planning team AUBE, and global strategic partner Barker Langham.
