Café Hoijer  is located inside the Ateneum Museum in the center of Helsinki.

It’s lofty space is dominated by a beautiful green limestone floor and a huge arched window, offering a view of Rautatientori, Helsinki’s central railway station. It provides the visitor with a new perspective on the familiar urban landscape. The space offers magnificent settings for a classic, timeless café.

Large chandeliers and wall lights that run along the space, along with a harmonious colour scheme, create a warm and tranquil atmosphere in the café. Long sofas and classic chairs invite you to sit down, and on the limestone table tops, you may even find snail fossils.

In line with green values, the café has used timeless, value-preserving classic furniture and lighting fixtures, as well as recycled vintage armchairs. The sofa upholstery fabric is recycled wool (45%).
