The winning proposal "Syke" by JKMM and Hartela Construction brings an active lifestyle neighbourhood right next to the Myyrmäki Sports Park. Creating new synergies and urban life for the area, the proposal includes rain gardens and dynamic planting, as well as sustainable, energy-efficient housing that promotes a healthy lifestyle. A total of almost 30 000 m2 will be built by the end of 2028.

The competition proposal was submitted in collaboration with the construction company Hartela. The other partners in the multi-professional working group were Vesitaito Oy, WSP Finland Oy, Maisema-Arkkitehtitoimisto Kokoma and Green Building Partners Oy.
